A Dietary Intervention Designed to Reset Your Health Wellness

In essence, the Chenot Diet ® is a fasting-mimicking diet (FMD) that delivers 850 calories across three meals a day, for a period of seven days. It is a plant-based intervention that activates the body’s fasting mode whilst providing sufficient nourishment and minimising the negative side effects of a traditional fast, such as muscle loss and nutrient deficiencies.

Transition into a Fasting State

Consuming fewer calories than the body needs for maintenance, reduces the available glucose, forcing your body to find alternative energy sources.

Increased Fat Utilisation and Ketogenesis

As the available glucose supplies are reduced, the body starts to shift its metabolic processes to breaking down adipose tissue (fat cells). The body enters a state of ketogenesis, a metabolic state that encourages fat burning, preserves lean body mass, and supports cognitive function.

Enhanced Autophagy and Cellular Rejuvenation

In this state, the body initiates an enhanced and more efficient rate of autophagy, a cellular cleaning process where old, damaged cell components are broken down and recycled. Autophagy reaches a peak by day 4 improving metabolic efficiency and cellular fitness.
